THE STORY OF THE GHETTO CHILD AND AJEBO CHILD BIG WIZ & DAVIDO

Looking at the life history of these two young billionaire superstars from Nigeria in West Africa you will come to understand why i named this article THE EXCHANGE i believe at the end you will understand more but first, let’s take a look at their different backgrounds.

Wizkid Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun with the stage name Wizkid was known as Lil Prinz at the beginning of his music career. As a teenager, he changed his name to Wizkid. IB-boy, Wizzy, Wiz Lion, Wizzy Baby, and Big wizz which are some of his nicknames. He was born on July 16, 1990, in Surulere, Lagos grew up in Lagos’ ghetto.

Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun, his father is a polygamist who is said to have 12 other children from his three marriages. Wizkid is the only son of his father, while his siblings are all female.

Davido David Adedeji Adeleke was born on Nov. 21, 1992. David was born in Atlanta, Georgia, US, to Mr. and Mrs. Adedeji Adeleke. Davido’s father is a know Investor and businessman in Nigeria. Davido lost his mother Veronica Adeleke at an early age. Davido was enrolled at the British International School located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He later gained admission to study Business administration at Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama.

While at Oakwood University, Davido bought some recording and musical equipment to make music. Davido later dropped out of school and moved to Nigeria in 2011. After deliberations with his Dad, he enrolled at Babcock University, Ogun state, and finally graduated in 2015 with the first class in music.

Now from this brief history of these two superstars, Wizkid was born as a ghetto child and Davido on the other hand, was born with a golden spoon. Wizkid who is already used to the ghetto life has to put in so much work over the years and still, finally he moved over to the united state of America and today his music has been generally accepted all over the world, winning multiple international and local awards, it’s amazing to know that at this point wizkid speaks and sound more like he was born and raised in the states which are also reflected in his music and recent friendship with top world superstars.

Let’s bring it back to David He was already used to the Western life and environment but not the ghetto, Now he finally moved back to Nigeria and started his music professionally, He dropped his American accents and started relating more with the ghetto youth and as a result of this, he discovered and lifted a whole lot of ghetto youths who never believed they will ever make it in music, Today he has won so many awards Internationally and locally.

His music and lifestyle are indeed a true example to the Nigerian youths. Today we celebrate these great icons of progress who indirectly exchanged lifestyle to be a big blessing to Africans and the entire world.
